Great news for Certified/Licensed healthcare workers: jobs are abundant and wages have gone up. There is an extreme shortage of healthcare workers in the San Francisco Bay Area. The increasing prices in rent and housing push the low-wage earners to relocate elsewhere. This resulted to shortage which pushed salary and wage adjustments to go up. The lucky ones are those who had settled in the Bay for a long time already.
If you are currently a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA), it is a must that you complete the 48-hour Continuing Education (CE) requirements to keep your certification valid and continue employment – 30 hours for Certified Hemodialysis Technicians (CHT) and Registered Nurses (RN).
